Meet Anaya Floyd

MEET TROVISE

Her journey as an author began with Love Yourself First Before You Love a Man, a book written to encourage women to choose themselves, recognize their worth, and understand the importance of self-love before and within relationships.

Her second book brought her into an entirely different world, children’s literature, and gave her the opportunity to create something especially meaningful alongside her granddaughter, Anaya.

Anaya Floyd is a young author making her literary debut with Be Nice, a children's book she created alongside her grandmother, Trovise Martin.

The heart of Be Nice came from conversations between Trovise and Anaya about how children should treat one another. Anaya shared her own thoughts about being nice, kind, friendly, respectful, generous, helpful, and fun—and those conversations helped shape the message of the book.

Now, as a young author, Anaya is beginning her own journey sharing Be Nice at community events and youth entrepreneurship experiences.

Together, Anaya and her grandmother are building a legacy centered on kindness and sharing a message children and families can carry with them every day.

“The most beautiful stories aren't just written in books. They're written in the hearts of those we love.”

ACROSS GENERATIONS

What makes Trovise’s author journey unique is that her writing reaches across generations.

From encouraging women to choose self-love, to teaching children the importance of kindness, to opening a new conversation about dating and relationships from men’s perspectives, each project explores a different part of how we value ourselves and how we relate to one another.

At the center of it all is a simple belief: the relationship we have with ourselves and the way we treat others matter.
